Spanish manufacturer to establish North American headquarters in Hampton Roads region

The Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance is pleased to announce SANJO Corte Fino has selected the City of Virginia Beach as the location for their North American headquarters.
In a press conference yesterday, Governor Terry McAuliffe announced that SANJO will invest $17.5 million to establish its North American headquarters in Virginia Beach, which will create 85 new jobs for the region. Working successfully with Virginia Beach Economic Development and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, the Alliance was able to assist in the location of this family-owned manufacturer, based in Barcelona, Spain. SANJO will supply specialty, fineblanking metal components to STIHL Inc., also headquartered in Virginia Beach, as well as several tier-one automotive suppliers.
The Alliance extends our congratulations to Mayor Sessoms, Economic Development Director Warren Harris, and the entire team of the Virginia Beach Economic Development Department, as well as our thanks to all of our private and public sector investors for their continued support of the Alliance and its mission.
